Franklin Templeton supports passage of the CLARITY Act.
The bill would make clear how crypto is regulated. Investors would know what protections apply. Firms would know which regulators they answer to.
It’s time to provide the industry the clarity it needs.
Today, the Mantle Super Portal migrates from @LayerZero_Core to @chainlink CCIP, the institutional standard for cross-chain security.
Built with @Bybit_Official, as more value moves through the Portal, the bar for securing it rises. This is us meeting it.
What's changing 🧵
3. Protección ante ataques
CCIP incorpora Rate Limits.
Si ocurre algo anormal limita automáticamente las transferencias y
evita que un ataque se propague
4. Certificaciones institucionales
El software posee auditorías y certificaciones como:
SOC 2 Type II
ISO 27001
Yuzu Money has completed the migration from LayerZero to @chainlink CCIP as our exclusive cross-chain infrastructure.
Yuzu Money assets are now secured by CCIP’s 16+ independent nodes per lane, battle-tested DON infrastructure, native rate limits, and Yuzu Money’s own Security Consortium validation.
Institutional-grade infrastructure, now in production.
$LINK bros. I think we need to zoom out again and not let the bear market vibes make you crazy… let’s look at the current snapshot of tokenomics, fee revenue, and the landscape Chainlink is operating within.
We all know the staking roadmap has been crawling. v0.2 launched in late 2023, we’re still on it, and the v1 that was supposed to bring real slashing and fee based rewards feels like it’s been pushed to the back burner. 700 LINK slashing penalties. Emissions funded rewards. No staking coverage on CCIP at all. Meanwhile the adoption curve has gone vertical. DTCC Collateral AppChain going live Q4. Pangea launching with 47 banks. Swift’s cross chain interop running on CCIP. Billions flowing through infrastructure that has almost no cryptoeconomic security backing it in the way the 2022 roadmap described.
The community frustration is justified. The anxiety is real. People bought LINK on the promise that cryptoeconomic security would create a direct link between network usage and token value, and four years later that mechanism barely exists in any meaningful form. The silence from Chainlink Labs on why the roadmap stalled, what changed, and when it gets fixed has eroded trust with the very people who believed earliest.
I’m not here to dismiss any of that. I share it.
But here’s where my thinking shifted.
Ask yourself a basic question. DTCC has one of the most rigorous risk teams in global finance. They clear and settle over four quadrillion dollars annually. They do not integrate critical infrastructure on vibes. Neither does Swift. Neither does JPMorgan. These organizations put every vendor, every counterparty, every infrastructure dependency through months or years of risk evaluation before anything touches production. Contractual guarantees. Indemnification frameworks. Failure remediation plans. All documented, all quantified, all stress tested.
So they are clearly comfortable enough with Chainlink’s security model to go to production. The question that matters is what gave them that comfort, because it was not a 700 LINK slashing penalty on the ETH/USD feed.
Something is providing the economic backstop that institutional risk teams require. Something tangible enough to pass a risk committee at DTCC. And public staking in its current form is not that something.
@InternChainlink With an average of $10 each you invest $300,000 and expecting at least a $1,000 LINK by 2030 so you have $30,000,000…buuutt following your investment probably $30M is not enough..maybe LINK at $3,500 you can start selling a few thousands
@TheLinkPanda If you have a big capital invested in the markets, you just need to diversify and place 1-5% in $LINK but if you have just a small cap this is your best asymmetrical play to get rich in the next 5 years.
@Cointelegraph@knilniahc The question here is if the banks will be able to lend 90% of the tokenized deposits as they do with Fiat and the stablecoins have to be backed 1:1 ???
$30+ trillion in onchain value enabled. 2,600+ protocols. Adopted by Swift, DTCC, Aave, Lido, & many more.
We are thrilled to welcome @chainlink as a partner for the Injective Summit. 🏛️
@inneroperator@linkfew Let’s talk about the stablecoins and the tokenized CD. The banks are against crypto exchanges cause the Clarity Act includes yield on stablecoin so, how is this goin to play?
NEW: @The_DTCC is integrating Chainlink data and orchestration standards into the DTCC’s Collateral AppChain.
DTCC and Chainlink are advancing 24/7, near-real-time collateral workflows across global markets and blockchains.
Glad to see all the hard work that Chainlink has put into generating real security is being recognized as valuable by more and more teams in our industry. It seems that focusing on making the secure and reliable solution is what wins in an industry where securing value is a key feature of everyone's product.
We have seen the trend of low quality data oracles with poor security being switched out for Chainlink for many years now, with that trend continuing on a regular basis; https://t.co/LOcbYNfqnz
We are also now seeing the same dynamic in cross-chain connectivity/bridging, where providing security with actual decentralization, actual monitoring and actual private key security is increasingly valuable to both protocol teams and the users of their products.
It is much easier and often faster to cut corners and run a single node and call it a decentralized bridge, have no monitoring on those bridges and keep the extra profits from cutting these key security and reliability features, but that comes at the expense of your users systems going down e.g. due to one AWS zone outage, or your bridges getting hacked with one set of admin keys.
Chainlink's thesis as a technology, standard and community is to not cut these corners, but do what we can to raise the standards of our industry and provide reliable on-chain data, reliable cross-chain interoperability and now reliable off-chain to on-chain orchestration across all smart contracts on all chains.
We’re committed to working with @KelpDAO in strengthening the cross-chain security of rsETH by supporting their migration to Chainlink CCIP.
DeFi will win.
