One day I will tell my story in full. But for now: Trust your instincts. Know your worth. Be brave enough to forge your own lane if it does not exist. Choose your mentors wisely. And above all, do not be afraid to step into your purpose, because it’s absolutely beautiful here

Congratulations to a mighty person. @MatiH_ID was fully engaged as director @CityofSTLDOH. No one else had her enthusiasm in eradicating infectious diseases as a fabulous renowned physician. She is also an advocate for mental health. During her tenure she uplifted her department and the STL region. She now has been chosen as the Executive VP & Chief Strategy Officer @MoFoundHealth. That’s one positive shot in the arm as an innovative visionary, who has a knack for multisector partnerships. In her hands, the organization will have a more robust and much more innovative approach to a variety of public health challenges. I used to always looked forward to her bombastic energy and hypnotic personality, when her office was next door to mine. In her new role she’ll continue to change many lives. Btw for her dynamic public health evangelism she snagged a Persons of the Year 2023 award by @HeatUpSTL. I like good news about good people
