@WorkaholicDavid They would die just to follow Apple steps.
They even removed 3x from S27U and just cuz Apple has 3 lenses only. Yet to mention the rounded corners and so on. Pathetic to say the least
Samsung needs to start being serious.
Releasing a cheaper, compromised, wide Galaxy Z Fold8, just because Apple is going to release their version is a tacky move.
You're sacrificing your "Ultra" brand identity for a phone that has no S Pen, awful zoom lens, slow charging, no Anti Reflevtive Display, while using the Ultra name as a crutch to boost sales.
Stop copying Apple, and start being serious.
@swiggah1 "Feels like a step backwards" is not accurate. IT IS A STEP BACKWARDS, and there should be backlash and accountability. We really need to boycott and switch to other companies until Samsung learns to respect their once to be fans.
Samsung, this will be my final year in supporting your products as a customer if you keep following this trajectory.
When I buy a Galaxy S Ultra, I expect to have the latest and best that you offer, with absolutely no corners cut.
It's quite simple: Stop being cheap, and make your customer's money worth it for Galacy S27 Ultra.
If you don't, expect to be eaten by Apple and Vivo.
The choice is yours.
@Wvisioncreation Nothing beats Samsung Keyboard. They would be very stupid melting in Google pot if they are ditching their own apps and system. No one from Samsung leadership seems to get what customers want from Samsung!! This is risky
Samsung… are you slowly becoming Google with better hardware?
First it was Messages. Then Finder. Even Quick Share started changing direction leaning back on Bluetooth after Google stepped in.
Because here’s the reality, take Samsung Keyboard as an example. It’s one of those small things that makes me enjoy the S26 Ultra more than devices running Gboard like on the OPPO Find X9 Ultra. When that Samsung touch fades… you feel it instantly.
Samsung Internet, One Hand Operation+, Samsung Finder, Samsung Notes, Messages, Samsung DeX, SmartThings, Samsung Calendar, Expert RAW, Samsung Wallet, Good Lock, Mode & Routine , Secure folder, ect... That ecosystem is what makes Samsung Samsung.
People didn’t choose Samsung for specs. They chose One UI, the experience, the details, the Samsung way of doing things.
If someone wants pure Google, there’s Google Pixel… or plenty of Android phones with stronger hardware.
Samsung, don’t trade your identity for alignment. Samsung… stop. Don’t lose what made you you. Because once that identity is gone, no amount of hardware can bring it back.
