@BigDrewyy When a transaction is performed on the $XRP Ledger, its transaction fee is destroyed. Transaction fees can be as low as 0.00001 XRP and most are paying around 0.000015 XRP now. At 50 tx/s that would be roughly 23,000 XRP per year. This is just meant as spam deterrence.
