So the gatekeeping in World of Warcraft Forever is getting kind of crazy.

I posted a simple statement from the Game Director Ion on Forever. Keywords to look for are It is not Classic or Retail but its own game. "Forever is designed to be a third pillar alongside Retail and Classic"

I would say "the whole this is our game" has to stop. But of course it won't. Classic players say that this is "OUR" game it was meant for "US" not meant for you.

Yeah and Classic Era was meant for you. And the community pretty much left it in the dust to die following the coattails of the majority who went past 60 and moved forward. Several Classics after really. Most players had the choice to stay, but didn't. The Devs had the choice to add new content to Era but didn't. Why?

Because World of Warcraft Forever is meant to reach farther than just the Private Server Refugees and Classic players. They want players from all over. They want OSRS players. ESO Players. GW2 Players. FFXIV Players. And so on.

Gatekeep all you want. But they are coming. And they are coming in large waves like a fucking Tsunami. Into "YOUR" game. And they will have feedback. And you will see a lot of it all over every social, streams, YT, TikTok, everything.

Forever should stick to the foundation of the gameplay and gaming philosophy of Vanilla. While Making the game visually approachable for all audiences. With simple QoL and additions that hurt no one.

This isn't an "OUR" or "US" situation fam.

World of Warcraft Forever is for EVERYONE. And in 44 days you will see that. You won't be alone. All walks of life will be entering Forever.

And yes I woke up today and chose violence.

Bring modern style tagging to WoWF! Faction based tagging as well as shared quest loot and better EXP ratios for parties!

Nobody warned me about remote work.

I sleep 8 hours every night and wake up rested.
I get right to work without any small talk or having to unwind from driving in traffic.
Sitting on a sofa instead of at a desk made most of my back problems vanish.
Being able to work out during lunch made the rest of my back problems vanish.
It's easy to eat healthy, and it costs less.
I work with my family nearby and my pets right next to me.
Some guy doesn't break my concentration by randomly whistling.
Everyone else is remote too. All anyone sees is our work.
No one makes me work longer. Once a while I do it because I enjoy my job.
