When someone expresses that they find something their parent did inconsiderate, resist the urge to make it about your late parent(s). You are exploiting grief as a tool to shame others for expressing personal discomfort while sidestepping the original issue. Stop doing that.
Do you know how crazy it is that what is happening to Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan could happen in your school, your church, your workplace, your hospital, your home, or your street—anywhere—and the outcome would still be the same? Do you know how wild that is?
Did I just hear a voice of a Senator say : “She’s not coming back” to Senator @NatashaAkpoti ?
Wonderful.
When men because of little power fleetingly acquired start speaking like they are God, we all must remember what History reveals of their kind.
Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
You have inspired a Generation.
You have inspired all credible citizens.
You. Will. Never. Walk. Alone. ✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾
Ireti Kingibe that Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan defended when Wike was tossing her around, this is what she has to say during Natasha's predicament. Ireti is not a good person. What a shame.
I was a HO in Uyo in 2017 when Akpabio was Senator, he was accused of sexual harassment by a ward secretary, in 2020 as a Minister he was accused of sexual harassment by Joy Nunieh then acting MD NDDC.
No smoke without fire, I stand with Senator Natasha. Investigate Akpabio now.
If you have experienced sexual harassment by male bosses at your work place you will understand every single thing Sen Natasha is saying, your hard work will be looked down upon, you will be reduced to just another woman that should be slept with.
Have followed Natasha through the harassment & bullying she’s incurred in her political journey. I’ve only heard her voice, fighting for herself and her constituency. One Natasha is more useful to Nigerians like 100 senators in that chamber. It’s very important we fight with her!
See how everyone both the men & the women of the senate are banding together against Natasha, this is exactly what women face when they speak up for themselves against a man who is in a position of authority and who has used said authority to sexually abuse / harass them.
