.@SixtDE TLDR- booked with Sixt long in ADVANCE. Called twice to ensure Id get what I needed.

Upon arrival at Frankfurt, I was told all they had was a Ford minivan and BMW suv. Needed space & economy for 3 weeks. Sixt FUCKED me. I paid 3x expected for fuel. AVOID!

They will offer you every vehicle imaginable EXCEPT for the one you pre-pay reserved and THEN you’ll end up paying 3 times the amount planned for fuel.

Do not trust @SixtDE’s “Or Similar” policy when booking a car. You won’t get what you want or need, and their terrible customer service will do nothing. I paid $1000’s extra in fuel, and received a €100 refund... terrible company. Avoid at all costs.
