Human, male. Immigration & Real Estate lawyer, father, eater of burgers. Tweets are mine, but not legal advice. Also, don’t EVER take legal advice from tweets.
Poilievre in media scrum. Unwilling to answer any questions. Answers questions with a question. Rude, ignorant to reporters. Voting for him will provide Canadians with NO ANSWERS. #cdnpoli#onpoli#peipoli
This measure will have a profoundly negative effect on the economy in Montreal, not to mention creating chaos for workers looking to *renew* their work permits. Many vulnerable people will be hurt by this short sighted "tweak" to the Temporary Work Permit program.
@TonyZabaglione@AHousefather Thank for the advice but I’d rather stay in my home and my community, and also remain Canadian. In fact, what you’re arguing is actually what separatists want! Please stop helping them.
@pennynk1948@Aaron_Derfel Um, that doesn’t really help those of us who would like to remain in our homes here… it’s actually what the CAQ seems to want. Please stop helping them push us out.
So, piffleswipe @PierrePoilievre, proponent of lean, mean government, has a shadow cabinet with, um, 78 members.
Let’s take a look at some of the leading, uh, lights. …

@MattHar65517869 I'm glad we agree that housing is a right, and the Government ought to be providing it to all Canadians! I wouldn't have pegged you as a socialist, Professor, but good on you!
🚨NEW: Pierre Poilievre just gave a shout out to a disinfo-spreading YouTuber who regular posts anti-trans trash.
He appeared to recognize the YouTuber and told him to “keep up the great work.”
This is…not a good sign for Poilievre’s information diet:
Saturday, May 11 at 2 pm, a protest is planned to start at Westmount square. The SPVM will be on sight. City of Westmount does not control the protests nor do we give any permits for them to take place. If you have an issue, please call the SPVM for any security concerns.
@ I’m listening to iHeart ♫ @iHeartRadio https://t.co/08wtZ7Zb1I. Fact: students from English schools score better on French mother tongue provincial exams than do those from French schools so perhaps our French schools could learn from our English schools!
Every Quebec employer who hires a temporary worker needs to get a Certificat d’Acceptation du Québec from the Quebec Immigration Ministry. Their presence requires the Quebec government’s approval! Can Premier Legault please stop feigning shock that they’re here?
@diana_murphy613 It really depends on the circumstances. I enjoy living in a country where people are free to dress as they wish, say what they wish, and where they’re (and I’m) allowed to be wrong. A scarf does not upset me - I’m far more worried about someone who harbours hate but hides it.
English-speaking parents of children with learning difficulties who were denied an English-language information session were, in fact, entitled to be provided the presentation in English, according to the Quebec Education Ministry.
