@erichhartmann I don't buy that tastebuds change. Most food taste the same to me as when I was five. Why would some foods just taste worse for no reason? I'd like to add Chips a Hoy and Nill Wafers to the list of food that use to taste magically good and now are much worse than 30 years ago.
@trothmetalcraft@thecoastguy The idea is that nobody shot at Trump that day. No bullet grazed his ear. Trump himself has experience staging fake violence a la pro wrestling. They killed a peon to add to the show.
Yes, the people who run the world are that psychotic.
Everyone needs to stop saying "right?" when they talk. People who make a declarative statement and then say "right" is a speech tic left over from too much time in academia/watching Ted talks and makes it sound like you have no confidence in the thing you just said, you are already begging for your listener to agree.
If you use it, try to catch yourself saying it and banish it from your speech - you will sound smarter, right?
The people who ratted out their neighbors five years ago for holding house parties, disobeying stay-at-home orders, or walking without masks, were out in full force today protesting tyranny. These people who seem mostly to live off interest and dividends, who two years ago decided they were huge fans of a place called Ukraine, are today really upset by something. Some held signs that were openly and shockingly full of blood lust.
Can anyone really explain this? I can't.
Many people who accept that the Bergamo and NYC covid phenomena were staged events have not thought through the corallaries of that conclusion. It means that:
1. The planners knew that there was no new danger; the threat had to be faked.
2. They prepared well before the ostensible "discovery" of the "virus" in China, and the improbable timeline of January 2020, which I described in an interview with @DocAhmadMalik below, and into which were compressed the characterisation of the purported disease, the sequencing of the purported pathogen, the design in silico of the PCR primers, the shipping of the first garbage PCR tests, and the "discovery" of asymptomatic transmission.
3. They'd put a lot of thought into promoting novel medical protocols that would cause actual deaths without that being too obvious, and that they could sell to healthcare workers as necessary. https://t.co/MghdZneGRZ
The weirdest vein of covid dissidents: “Lockdowns, masks, social distancing, school closures, nudge units, the shots, the deadly virus motif and more were all nonsense. But the actual sequence, virus and disease? On that one aspect of the scam the narrative wasn’t fake. There was a real pathogen and it came from a lab.” I’d say anyone with that perspective has last touch with reality.
@LouRaguse If that's a mug shot why does she get to wear concealing garments? Religious practice always boils down to just a claim. If anyone is allowed to conceal identity in a mug shot then all must be allowed to do the same.
COVID and St. Floyd were coordinated psychological warfare and the amount of people who fell for it made me realize democracy and universal suffrage were the greatest threat to America
If you were surprised Biden’s brain was broken, and you were shocked to learn the Fine People story was a hoax, wait until you learn Jan 6th was the opposite of an insurrection.
My heart truly goes out to @elonmusk. He bought this platform to counter censorship and it worked, fundamentally changing public culture just in time. He still doesn't get credit for that.
He saw an existential threat from the then-existing regime and tried to make a difference. He spent countless hours and enormous human energy putting together DOGE and discovering vast scandals in government. He believed he could make a difference.
Then media and the political machine began to eat him and smear him, and he saw Congress essentially dismiss all DOGE efforts, and he was blocked in myriad ways.
I worry that his efforts will stand as a warning to other businesspeople: don't try to improve the world and stay out of politics. He has been punished for trying to do the right thing.
