Now is the time to build the power of young people. Today we’re excited to share our bold new plan to unconditionally back young ppl to create change on their own terms. 💪✊🚀

[FYA @fya_org]

Are you working on a project that supports young people (15-24 years) to navigate + recover from the impact of Aus bushfires, COVID-19 + ongoing employment, mental health or transport challenges?

Apply now for the Youth Action Projects Scheme!

Police violence and lack of justice also disproportionately affects First Nations people in Australia. It is an opportunity for us to also look in our own backyard, and commit to justice for our First Nations people and other people of colour. #AusPol https://t.co/70bTTUkHj1

Really interesting that an episode about young people becomes conflated with a conversation about casual and insecure work #qanda

[FYA @fya_org]

Tonight @QandA is all about young people and #COVID19. @NYCInquiryAU Commissioner @_JohnstonSophie will be the only young person on the panel. Young people are a diverse group with valuable contributions to make to this country. So tune in and ask, #wherearetheyoungpeople?

[Think Forward @thinkforwardaus]

Here are some young people or youth led organisations QandA could have had on their episode @CaitFigueiredo @StorerDylan @YouthActionNSW @mekala_shanker @TalkToCMY @young_campaigns @fya_org @YouthParlWA @unyouthaus @VicSRC @kareemelan #wherearetheyoungpeople

Only one young person on a "Young and Free" panel #qanda? Do better.

[National Youth Commission Australia @NYCInquiryAU]

While we are pumped to be on @QandA tonight to talk young people and the future, we are incredibly disappointed by the lack of young people's representation, particularly First Nations, LGBTQIA+, young refugees + migrants + students. Nothing about us without us. #qanda #auspol

Millennials entered the workforce in the turmoil of a recession.

Now, just as we’re finding our feet, realising our career potential, and starting our own families, we are being brought to our knees.

A thread. #auspol
