SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER: The staff at the Pentagon’s loan office suddenly get word — and I quote the Fake News here — “THE CALL CAME FROM THE WHITE HOUSE!!!” And who made the call? PETER NAVARRO!!! NOVEMBER 2025: The announcement — $620 MILLION loan, the BIGGEST in the office’s history, plus $80 million for the partner, plus $50 million from Commerce!!! $670 MILLION of beautiful taxpayer support, ninety days after my son invested!!! 700 million acres of America have a secret underneath.

The minerals. The oil. The coal. All of it belongs to the federal government.

Even under private ranches. Even under family farms. Even under homes.

And Washington just proposed a new rule — it no longer has to tell you when it sells what's under your land.

Jeanie Alderson's ranch sits on some of those acres.

Her family has ranched the same Montana valley since 1889. Six generations along a little creek called Hanging Woman. Her sons work it now. Her father, in his eighties, still does too.

"Everything that my family has been, is now, or will be is tied up in this place."

And her family knows exactly what it costs to keep it. In the 1970s, coal companies came for the valley. Her mother fought them - phone calls on the party line, trips to Washington, years of meetings - and saved the ranch from the strip mines.

But here's the bargain families like hers have always lived under. It's called a split estate, and it's not new — America has divided land this way for over a century. The family owns the surface. The government owns everything below. And under the law, the minerals always outrank the grass.

Then came the phone call.

One day, Jeanie called the government office in Miles City with a simple question: what's the status of the minerals under our ranch?

The answer stopped her cold.

Three-quarters of everything beneath her family's land had already been leased. Sold to five different companies. Companies with the legal right to come drill it.

No letter ever came. No phone call. Nothing. Strangers held rights under her family's home — and the only reason she knew was that she thought to ask.

That silence caused an uproar. So the government finally agreed to a simple fix: before leasing the minerals under a family’s land, it would notify them first. A warning in the mailbox before the ground under them was sold.

That’s the protection this new rule erases.

And this rule has names on it.

President Trump signed the executive order: "Unleashing American Energy." Interior Secretary Doug Burgum's department wrote the rule to carry it out. His Bureau of Land Management published it on June 24th.

Their reasoning, in their own words: telling families is an "undue burden" on the oil and gas industry.

And the rule doesn't stop there.

It slashes the cleanup bonds oil companies post before drilling. Down to $10,000 per lease. Levels set in the 1950s. Cleaning up a single well can run $200,000. Guess who covers the difference.

It cuts the public's window to object from 90 days to a 10-day protest period.

And if your protest runs longer than 50 pages? A dollar a page to file it.

Six generations of one family fought to hold their ground. Now the government wants to sell what's under it — without so much as a letter.

If they can sell what's under your home without telling you, whose land is it really?

Trump was able to quickly put together $300 billion in recovery money for Iran after he decided to bomb it.

He stood in Swannanoa NC not far from my house in October 2024 and said he’d build back bigger, better, more beautiful, and faster than Biden after Hurricane Helene inflicted $60 billion in damage in the Blue Ridge . . . and then he went MIA.
