An excellent breakdown of what a successful football program means to a major university. @IndianaUniv and @IndianaFootball are an excellent case study that football is the best marketing for a university. https://t.co/HZIkCyEMYl
Looking at the @Athletics season, I totally agree that it was a solid B. What a great core. Can't wait until they get to Vegas and play in their new stadium just blocks from the UNLV campus!

I was wondering why I didn't want OKC to win despite the fact they have a great superstar built through sheer dedication + small market and historically great stats. Yet I was totally rooting for the @pacers. And if OKC holds on, the title will be as hollow as the 2020 Lakers
@thehonestlypod@AlexThomp Mostly agree. However, Re: less bias as a factor in the lack of coverage--it was the "cheap fake" stories that tend to refute that thought. Still plenty of bias in the lack of Biden mental decline coverage back then.

One reason why it's sometimes hard to teach sports journalism, the guy wall agreed in class is great sports social media presence on Tuesday, @MikeGrimala , gets let go from the @LasVegasSun that week. https://t.co/POpQSAriQW
In the National Championship postgame show, Scott Van Pelt & Rece Davis discuss how faith in Jesus Christ played a central role in Ohio State’s season
“These guys were baptizing people on campus…[Faith] made guys selfless. I think that’s the power in it…”
- Rece Davis (@ReceDavis)
Reflecting briefly on the @CFBPlayoff first quarterfinals, I really am bummed @oregonfootball fell so hard to OSU. But overall, I am really happy with the tourney as none of the semifinalists would have even played even though they are clearly better than the top four seeds.
I know X is supposed to only be about politics now, but if the current AP top 25 was the #CollegeFootballPlayoff lineup I would be pretty excited for the first round of games.
