So, a prediction app reached out to see if they could advertise. We asked our readers what they thought and, wow, yeah, they were not into it https://t.co/3fbK3Zd53o
@AndyKalmowitz Easier to build a $200,000 kick-jumping distraction that may or may not ever get sold or be actually real than to just build a sub-$25,000 EV.
I don't know how much I believe about the Tesla Roadster, but that was an incredible presentation. Also, flying bit aside, the Esprit aesthetic works here.
Just think, when you tune in to watch the Fast And Furious TV show, you'll be watching with THEE @MattHardigree! Also, fun F&F Autopian thing announcement --> https://t.co/QjNtmT9KFf
It’s pretty lousy how legacy automakers like VW release a “new” product that shares almost all the same tech and specs as its branded counterpart.
Bentley just launched its new EV SUV, and it’s basically a rebadged Cayenne Electric. Same platform, wheelbase, battery architecture, charging hardware, suspension, and screens.
It’s so boring. Consumers aren’t dumb.
Lexus has updated the LS for Japan, giving it new badging, tweaked suspension, and cut-glass interior trim.
They also sent us the strangest cropped press photos we have ever seen. These have not been edited.
I finally did it. I wrote my piece on how the original The Fast and The Furious film is actually about currency and arbitrage, as opposed to just cars and family https://t.co/OfMOOKLhYe
This delulu Redditor drove his run of the mill Carrera S 800 miles and is surprised it’s lost 30k in value when he went to trade it in. That’s $34 a mile lol. Drive your cars.
Is this a great thing? Not really! It sucks that the country relies on huge trade barriers to keep cheap EVs out, though I think the market will embrace EVs at a higher rate than the mots bearish takes. We'll get there. But skipping the hybrid step has nearly doomed some OEMs.
The EV-only crowd got big mad when I pointed out that it was the "decade of the hybrid" and to them I would like to say scoreboard: https://t.co/43WisPBJ6M
