And the response from @KieranMullanUK was to block me, a constituent of his, from reacting to, or commenting on, his Facebook posts.
MPs are elected to represent everyone in their constituency, not just those they agree with. Stifling grown up debate in this way is shameful.
Interesting question of the current MP, who was happy to speak out about fire safety late last year...
Will @KieranMullanUK respond - he's appeared silent on recent questions posed on Facebook?
@gabyhinsliff Except the government tops up 1/3 of hours not worked (22%) with employers topping up the remainder to 77%
So increases the financial impact on employers
@Conservatives Wanting to uphold international law is "siding with the EU"? Thanks for confirming that the EU abide by international law, and not just in a specific and limited way.
The irony of flouncing away from one union, then pretending to preserve another one whilst harming devolution
@LauraSmithCrewe @circus_witch @KieranMullanUK Except my personal FB profile wasn't/isn't a candidate page. So I guess you unblocked me after the election, when I was no longer a candidate.
Or are you effectively saying it's reasonable to block anyone with a political affiliation from discussion?

We now have less scrutiny over trade deals than when we were part of the EU. Instead the Government is clearing the way to push through a quick deal with Trump's America, no matter what the cost to the UK.

Tories' promise to "take back control" proves to be just empty words, when it comes to trade
The Trade Bill passed through the House of Commons yesterday evening, without any amendments which would ensure that Parliament can vote on future trade deals.

By refusing to give Parliament a say over future trade deals - going against the wishes of many of their own MPs - it is clear that this Conservative Government's motto of "taking back control" was just empty words in their ideological pursuit of Brexit.

On train home after late votes on the Trade Bill. I voted tonight to ensure parliamentary scrutiny of all trade deals (wasn't that what "take back control" was about?), to protect food standards and our NHS. Sadly the govt ensured Tory MPs voted down all these amendments.
Will the MP for #Crewe and #Nantwich care to explain to everyone who relies upon our NHS locally why he voted against this amendment?
If the NHS isn't in any danger in trade talks, then how would passing this amendment have harmed those talks?
I'd like to give heartfelt thanks to everyone who involved in the 8 year campaign to stop this unwarranted, unsustainable development. Our community coming together over this issue is an example of the best of community spirit
We did everything we could, sadly it wasn't enough.
Now that it is clear the development will go ahead, I call upon the MP for Crewe and Nantwich step across party lines and join us in pushing for sustainable infrastructure and services to support our community.
