Instead of saying “I don’t have time”, try saying “it’s not a priority” and see how that feels.“I’m not working on my growth because it’s not a priority.”If it doesn’t sit well, that’s the point. Time is a choice. If we don’t like how we’re spending it, we can choose differently.
Every second you spend thinking about what someone else has, it is taking away from time that you can create something for yourself. Spend that energy on your visions and execute!
We are acceptable for what we are, not where we think we should be. I’m accepted in myself by what I am, but not as I think I should be. #NoTimeForRegret
“A fool multiplies words, though no man knows what is to be.” Ecclesiastes 10:14
So, what are we to make of media that multiply words about a myriad of tomorrow’s maybes?
And if you do have to compare, look at the positive qualities of others their hard work, their determination, and take inspiration to follow your aspiration. That is the positive aspect of comparison which will help you in your personal growth.
If you're about to give up, remember you could be an inch away from your breakthrough. Hang in there. Looking at others and comparing our journey to theirs could be disastrous because it could deprive us of living out our fullest potential. So keep working on yourself.
