How do you get a shift in the common sense of what is right or wrong in a society? Painful experience, some brave adventurous souls, debate, thinking, and some catalytic event or chain of events that will bring about a flip from one common sense to another.
There are so many murders of innocent women and men in Papua New Guinea in the name of sanguma or sorcery. When someone dies the accused are tortured and killed. No police action is taken and life moves on for the rest of the populace with barely a ripple.
