@steipete@Dimillian Thanks for sharing! This should cut out a lot of the time I let codex sit idle because I haven’t told it to review work or fix issues.
@Dimillian I’ve started asking codex to write skills, but hadn’t thought to ask about front end based on a project’s style. Thanks for the idea!
With the project manager thread setup, do you ever run reviews or do you accept that meaningful bugs will just surface and get dealt with later?
@HHaandr I didn’t see it on any of the template hero images, but figures the capability would already be there🤩
Thanks for the demo video. Time to put together a new experiment!
@Dimillian is it by design that codex mobile doesn’t show all the projects that are in the Mac app? My Mac has 12 in sidebar, iOS sidebar has 2, iOS dropdown when starting new chat has 5
@Dimillian Thanks! In the meantime, is there a best practice for when you’re out, want to do something in codex, and don’t see your project listed anywhere? It was a bummer when it happened; and I thought I was being clever by creating a new project on my Mac before I left the house 😆
@mecid 💯. There was a sense of newness and urgency to watching keynote/SotU, imagining what I could use in my app, watching those videos and then trying to book sessions. Now there was just a (great) App Store meeting. It’s almost like WWDC isn’t even happening
@Dimillian I’m starting to ask the model because the UI has gotten so cumbersome/bad. Feels like the product is steering me in that direction and I don’t care enough to fight it.
@adamlyttleapps When to separate ads into different ad groups is confusing. I added an engaging influencer ad to the ad group with my core high performing ad and it sucked up all the ad spend without delivering results. Ad group audience mismatch I suppose. Now I separate everything.
@adamlyttleapps Does using meta’s SDK not let you optimize for outcomes other than install? I thought I read that you prioritize certain milestones or revenue outcomes.
@Dimillian This is awesome! Looking forward to trying stuff out!
2 things that suck about updating Codex app:
1. I have to re-approve many tool calls every time I update. I’m half excited half frustrated with every update
2. Codex rarely updates cleanly. I usually have to quit and re-open
@Dimillian Can there be a concept of multi-repo projects? I develop features in Swift packages. Doing this with "Default" permissions is tough because I need to approve so many outside repo folder permission requests. I don't want to give full access.
@adamlyttleapps@CadenBurleson You CAN do “App Install” on iOS 14+ without the sdk. Setup SKAdNetwork (Apple framework) in your app. I linked to the relevant docs in another reply. But it’s definitely easier to just include the SDK. I couldn’t because of Kids category restrictions.
@jigsmedev@adamlyttleapps IIRC, 1. add FB and IG SKAN IDs to your project
2. Send notifications using SKAN (I send at launch, paywall, trial=final)
3. Setup app in Meta
4. In meta, check/enable iOS 14+
5. Setup campaign
