It’s been an honor to watch live for the last I’d say 3 years since you were covering early 1998… it’s been a pleasure to watch you cover the WWF and WCW consistently since I wasn’t alive during the Monday Night Wars. We’ve been through the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, the jokes for the superstars, the matches, debuts, the darkest moments, the returns, the championship wins. It’s been an honor. Thank you @WrestlingBios, Thank You.
....and it's done.
Tonight I officially stopped work on Reliving The War. The series is now complete.
Videos will be released on their normal schedule, all being well. I hope you enjoy the Mania video and the final farewell.
I can’t believe it’s over. You were an inspiration to me and millions of others. You made memories for everyone that watched you. You were a role model inside the ring and out. Your “Never Give Up” motto has helped me through some of the toughest times throughout the years . Thank You for making me a fan at such a young age. It’s been an honor watching you for the last 18 years of my life. So, once again, and for the final time, Thank You Cena. @JohnCena #ThankYouCena
I went to the show the next day at the old barn Nassau Coliseum, seeing cena for the first time live and beating Corporate Kane and Seth Rollins and at 7 years old will be something I never forget 🥹#thankyoucena@JohnCena
December 26th, 2014. The night my dad took me to see my first ever live wrestling show at Madison Square Garden. The main event, a street fight between Seth Rollins and John Cena. It was the best Christmas gift 9-year-old me could ever ask for. I found this video again after all this time, and it overwhelmed me with memories of that experience. Tonight, nearly 11 years later, I get to go to Madison Square Garden once again to see my favorite wrestler live one final time. To say it’s going to be an emotional and incredible night would be an understatement. The Last Time truly is Now. One final time in NYC. One final time in MSG. One final time seeing The Greatest of All Time. One final time, seeing John Cena ❤️
