🔧 My wired network had 5 Gbps download but only 15 Mbps upload, while the UniFi gateway tested at 5/5 Gbps.

I gave San, my Hermes AI agent, access to diagnose it. It inspected the gateway, ruled out QoS and ISP issues, correlated live speed tests with port counters, and found a failing 10G SFP+ link generating thousands of RX errors.

After replacing the DAC cable: 4.4 Gbps down, 3.7 Gbps up, and zero new errors.

This is what practical AI looks like—troubleshooting real infrastructure end to end, not just suggesting a reboot.
