A few months ago, @RepMTG and @RepThomasMassie were protesting that the US should not spend money on foreign conflicts. Ok, I disagree with that as a wholesale proposition, but I don’t find it offensive. But look how fast they have moved to false and libelous accusations of Israeli genocide, ignoring completely that Hamas started the war with unspeakable atrocities or that it embeds within civilian institutions or that the Israel army has a civilian to terrorist casualty ratio that is lower that any urban conflict in history, or that Israel literally is flooding Gaza with food.

Why have they moved so quickly from isolationist to antisemite? Could they have been bought off? Possibly. But I think they know that their only chance to save their seats in Congress is to lift up a rock and hope lots of antisemites crawl out and get riled up enough to come vote for them.

It’s a cynical and despicable strategy that is likely to get Jewish people hurt. These two deserve to never see the halls of Congress beyond 2025. With God’s help they will enter the dustbin of history.
