Imagine standing before Christ one day and hearing:
"You watched thousands of hours of entertainment.
You read and watched endless news.
You argued and bickered online.
You scrolled for years.
But you barely opened the Book I gave you."
That thought convicts me. It reminds me to keep returning to Scripture, because no voice matters more than the voice of God speaking through His Word.
Below are the ages of several godly men when they completed their race on this earth:

• Samuel Rutherford - 60
• Jonathan Edwards - 54

With many of us men in our 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond, it's sobering to consider how many men at this point in life had already finished their course with joy.
May the Lord teach us to number our days (Psalm 90:12), and help us truly grasp how short life is.
May we faithfully serve our Savior with whatever days He has given us.
Gut wrenching.
We may be enjoying a bit of a reprieve from the last 4 years in this country as Christians, but this is definitely not the reality many of our other brothers and sisters around the world are experiencing.
Btw - Benny Hinn prophesied in 2001 that within one year "there would not be one Muslim left in Nigeria."
The short epistle of Philippians has much to say about unity, grace, suffering, joy, etc., but let us consider three very broad topics hinted at in the initial greeting in verses one and two. https://t.co/hW8tlxyAmU
Don't just attend church.
Love the church.
Serve the church.
Give through the church.
Invite people to church.
Worship Jesus with the church.
Encourage the church.
Participate in the church.
Pray for the church.
Be the church.
Christianity is distinctly a singing religion.
Other religions chant and occasionally sing, but the Christian Scriptures have a hymn book (Psalms), we sing to each other (Eph. 5:19), and one day our God will sing over us (Zeph. 3:17).
Hearts filled with grace sing for joy.
No one can walk through the gates of Heaven and say, "I deserve to be here!"
No one can walk through the gates of Hell and say, "I don't deserve to be here!"
Thankfully, God isn't always fair.
Grace. Mercy.
The “American Dream”:
Average retirement age: 65.
Average life expectancy: 77.
Work for 47 years to possibly enjoy 12 years.
That mind sent is actually a nightmare.
Instead, enjoy the Lord now. Enjoy your life now. Every single day is a gift from Him. Make them all count.
When we see all the references to God’s wrath in the Bible, we instinctively imagine God’s anger must be like ours, and so we recoil. However, his anger is not wounded pride as ours is. God only gets angry at the evil destroying the things he loves—his creation and the human race he made for his own glory and for our happiness. God is not just a God of love or a God of wrath. He is both, and if your concept of God can’t include both, it will distort your view of reality in general and of forgiveness in particular.

Lord thank you for last nights slumber and the ability to see another day. I ask that you watch over us as we hit the field one last time today. Thank you for this opportunity 🙌🏽🙏🏽
They came back to complete their mission.
Just one win stands in the way of them accomplishing everything they set out to do.
