@OfficiallyIce@FlyoutChase Maybe the culture had more faith in your taste. All good though, betting against the culture is not a sustainable business plan in Hip-Hop. #TheStoryOfOJ
@hkscoobydoo @Natalie48097163 @EricLDaugh Especially among D.E.I. Students right? The ones that arenโt supposed to be there. If only she had your qualifications and superior intelligence, weโd all be safer. But here we are.
@hkscoobydoo @Natalie48097163 @EricLDaugh ๐ cute response, but youโre dead to rights, thereโs no escape, magna cum lade is top 10%. Also your response illustrates youโve never been to law school not only because the large set of core classes but the fact that each class is graded on a curve. Keep your head up! Chin high
@hkscoobydoo @Natalie48097163 @EricLDaugh You must have missed the part where she outperformed most of her classmates by graduating magna cum lade in undergrad and cum lade in law school. ๐ซ๐
This is why we canโt have lyrical conversations with these ppl, they donโt understand English, therefore they donโt have the comprehension skills. Let me give yall an English lesson. This is what we call Advanced Lyricism.
Kendrick is using Polysemy & Morphological Wordplay (Root Word Repetition) what you should know as Consonance, Assonance & Alliteration.
He stacked multiple meanings & uses of a single root sound gen/gin, morphing it into genocide, generous, gentle, gentleman, agenda, gentrified, gene, geneva, gender, general, genesis, ginger, generate & gin.
This is called: Paronomasia-pun/play on similar sounds & Anaphora/Anadiplosis- subtle internal repetition of a phrase or root.
Kendrick is not just rhyming , heโs doing semantic stacking & phonetic transformations of one root. Itโs not just rhyme, itโs conceptual recursion. His bars are almost like a linguistic puzzle, itโs poetic, dense & layered with double/triple entendres.
This style is way harder to execute than the simplistic rhyming of Queen, cream & self esteem ๐๐๐
Are we supporting #Ironheart tonight? We need to pull up for this show. We know it comes on. Yes, the marketing was trash but we need to pull up and give this show numbers!
