Coaching is Player Development
Player Development is Coaching
The hand is in a “race” to get to the set point (flat) before the ball is released on a shot.
Short shots are often the result of the hand “losing” the race to a flat “platter” at the set point - resulting in an outward (rather than upward motion) on the release of the shot.
Where is the Energy Leak in the shot?
Momentum from Game Movements, Hips, Arms, & Wrist create a Kinetic Chain of Energy - in the process, something happens out of sequence & energy is leaked.
Players with deep range & shotmaking ability off dynamic movements don’t leak.

“The catch is part of the shot.”
