In contrast to the dramatic nature of this weekend's US Olympic Marathon Trials in Orlando, British runners have been racing around the world to qualify for Paris.
Should Brits have a standalone trial race too?

If everyone agrees to only send the top 8 people to a championship, then there will be only 8 in each event, everyone will get a top 8, and everyone will be happy. Sorted 👍
@Thekrisjones I’m curious how you found it different to training for shorter races and whether there’s anything you’d take from this block into shorter distance training?
@Thekrisjones The one place I found I needed to focus more so for marathon training was on strength & conditioning - to keep niggles away as well as for the muscular strength needed at the end of the race (more so imo compared to shorter races).
Tomorrow's Ayo Falola Dream Mile at Lee Valley includes Zak Seddon, Michael Wilson, Tom Randolph & Khai Mhalanga. Also Laviai Neilsen, Jessie Knight, Holly Mills & Chris McAlistair over 400m, Hannah Segrave over 800m and Archie Davies, John Sanderson & Matt Leach over 3000m.
Beyond frustrating. 9th on Welsh all time list for 10,000 m, 2nd fastest in last 20 years. Sat at home watching a half full race because of team size limits 🤷♂️
