@inthefade I have a bunch of records that really mean something to me, and that’s why I spend money on them. It’s the stories and the memories. I have others that I’ve grown out of or don’t get spun very often, but I can at least tell you why or how I got it.

@inthefade I don’t really talk about my collection as a whole unless I’m asked how many I have. But sometimes my kids will randomly pull one out and I’ll tell them the story of why I have it, why I like it (or don’t) and then I’ll play it and watch their reaction as they discover it.

2023 was not a good year for me. 2024 is starting out on a bad note. I’m not well and it’s been taking a toll. I am hopeful things will turn around soon and sometime in this new year I can return to something close to normal. Take care of yourselves and listen to your body.
