2023 was big for the QD crowd, as the Chem. Nobel prize was awarded to 3 greats working on colloidal QDs. I wanted to share with you a couple of grainy photos from my Habilitation in 1994. They show 2 Nobel winners: de Gennes (1991/Phys) and Bawendi (2023/Chem). Coincidence!
