@TaraBull I 100% agree with the owner...but lets work on that $2.13. Maybe you should treat your own servers as an important part of your business and adjust the prices you present to costumers accordingly.
I think I'm going to enjoy Crimson Desert. I'm excited to buy it on deep discount in a year when it will be the best version of the game it can be. #crimsondesert
Hey nerds! I’ll be starting streams again soon. What was originally planned as a two-week break ended up turning into about two months, but I’m feeling ready to jump back in.
Everything’s been going well on my end. Sometimes I just need to take some time to focus on everyday life, but I really appreciate everyone who reached out to check in and see how I was doing. Looking forward to hanging out again soon!
@TaraBull With how much scalpers purchase wouldn't it make more sense to somehow buy them wholesale. Maybe set up an LLC or something and buy from distributors? Not sure how it all works but there has to be a better way.
I’ve been playing Dragon Warrior on the NES and I actually enjoy the slow progression and constant enemy encounters. It really makes each level gained feel earned and noticeable. That said, the balance feels a little rough at times, so I’m curious if Dragon Warrior II smooths that out. Either way, I’m still having a great time with it.
Ninja Theory really need to go back to making games that are more like Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and less like Hellblade🚀
Or at the very least, incorporate this playstyle into a game with the photorealism of Hellblade🥹
Hey guys. I'm going to take a little break from streaming. Nothing huge. Maybe like a week or 2. I might stream tomorrow before taking my break but we will see.
I’ve mentioned before that I’ve thought about starting a Discord, and I even talked through some of my reasons for considering it during a previous stream. After giving it more thought, though, I’ve decided not to move forward with one.
One of the main reasons is avoiding the kind of Discord drama that tends to pop up more often than not. I really like how the streams have been going lately, and I don’t want to jeopardize the fun, relaxed vibe we’ve built. I’ve seen plenty of other Discord servers struggle with negativity, bots, and general headaches that end up being more trouble than they’re worth.
Another big reason, and this is just my personal opinion, is that I don’t want to create a space where people feel like they have access to me 24/7. There are a few people I already talk to directly and confide in, but running a Discord would add a lot of pressure to always be present and available.
At the end of the day, I really like how the stream feels right now. It’s more like a brief hangout we all share, and I think adding a Discord would take away from that.
WHY I DECLINE AFFILIATE ON TWITCH:
I’ve been asked a few times on stream why I revoked Affiliate status on my Twitch channel, and while I’ve given a few different answers, it really comes down to one main thing. I want the channel to feel as authentic as possible.
This is purely my opinion, but having ads, subs, and bits on the channel makes the experience feel a little less genuine to me. I love streaming on Twitch, but I’ve always felt a bit weird about taking money from people, and I personally cannot stand ads being everywhere. Because of that, I decided to remove the parts of Twitch that I do not care about or actively dislike.
I also do not really buy into the idea that everything we enjoy needs to be monetized. This is very much a personal thing, but once money enters the picture, even indirectly, it starts to change my motivation and the experience stops being fun for me. I know that is not true for everyone, but it is how I personally feel.
Maybe that will change someday, but right now I am just having fun meeting people, talking about video games, and goofing off. I do not want or need anything more than that at the moment. And just to be clear, this is not me saying Twitch is bad. I genuinely love streaming on the platform.
