Ten minutes after takeoff, one of the plane's engines caught on fire

fire and exploded. I can only describe it as sounding like a bomb went off.

I've flown many times in my life and I can't ever recall being scared - let alone thinking I was going to die. It's interesting who you text when that happens.
Dramatic, I know - but very real.
