Some preachers today offer weak, watered-down proclamations in the name of the gospel.
They tell you to believe, but they don’t tell you to repent.
They tell you there’s a Heaven, but they don’t tell you there’s a Hell.
And they tell you there’s forgiveness, but they don’t tell you there’s repentance.
If we don’t include those things, then it isn’t the gospel. We cannot edit the gospel according to what we like or don’t like. It’s for us to share it as God gave it. Otherwise, we strip the gospel of its power and effectiveness.
My Mother told me to Always Count my Blessings, and I do. That’s why I get so excited when I Read and Study the Bible every Morning I wake up. What a Blessing to see Another Day!
Humble yourselves, therefore under God’s mighty hand. 1 Peter 5:6. Jehovah Elohim, Creator of all things for all time, we bow before You in awe & wonder. We praise Your holy name, & seek forgiveness for all the ways that we have grieved You. Please strengthen us today, we pray.🙏🏻
In a world of confusion, how do we pray for our children?
1. Salvation in Christ.
2. Wisdom in thinking.
3. Discernment in living
4. Selflessness in serving.
5. Joy in suffering.
6. Mercy in acting.
7. Kindness in responding.
8. Hope in enduring.
9. Boldness in standing.
