Aspen

She/they; trans; leftist; tired and overworked, mostly. Big stompy robot fan.

[Aspen @MattSchanuel]

@transscribe Nah, you're super cute! You have lovely eyes!

[Aspen @MattSchanuel]

@ErinInTheMorn I'm four months into my transition and live in MO; still waiting to hear from my doctors on this. I'm terrified.

[Aspen @MattSchanuel]

@SarahCutieBlue @gldnraes I'm three and a half months in, and now vibrators are near-essential for me (and mind-blowing, phew!)

[Aspen @MattSchanuel]

@EuphoriTori I'm AMAB and was sexually abused by a woman when I was a child. Seeing other people wish they could have been subjected to my trauma is... uniquely hellish.

[Aspen @MattSchanuel]

@sniko_ @0xgaut I'm an IRS employee, and I guarantee that this became one underpaid clerk's week-long project; department heads won't care, guaranteed. Way to shit on a deeply underfunded agency, I guess, go off king

[Aspen @MattSchanuel]

@spargles "If you could find a cure for depression that just removed the desire to be happy and the sensation that something is wrong, would you support this treatment"

This hypothetical is just "what is the rest of us didn't have to deal with trans people"

[Aspen @MattSchanuel]

@craig_steger @AdamKinzinger Well, first, you have to own something that Putin wants...

[Aspen @MattSchanuel]

@RyanSpaceBurger @punished_cait It's the demin, the glasses with bold frames, and the uncanny smile ripped straight from an advertisement, imo.

[Aspen @MattSchanuel]

@baileymeyers I pronounced rancid as "rain-kid" until sophomore year

[Aspen @MattSchanuel]

@TheFemBat_ @ashleygraham Hey, fellow polyam! You're incredibly gorgeous in this picture.

[Aspen @MattSchanuel]

@therealtimjoad @punished_cait Uh... comics Iron Man, I guess? This was pre-RDJ.

[Aspen @MattSchanuel]

@melodioustear @the_tweedy I do both of those - the skin around my nails are tattered.

[Aspen @MattSchanuel]

@yoganaraska @the_tweedy This just made a huge connection for me. Since high school at least I've counted the number of letters in sentences and, if they're not divisible by four, I adjust the wording of the sentence until it is. I had never thought of it as stimming before I read this!

[Aspen @MattSchanuel]

@jenny2x4 I work for the IRS; can confirm that I'm destroying at least one life (my own)
