Last week saw the return of Crop Doctor, with the first stop at our trial site in Callow, Herefordshire.
We joined Greg Hanna to see how wheat is fairing in the West. 🌾
Thank you to @AgriiUK agronomist @agronomysilvers for sharing an update on this winter wheat crop in the North West, where he's seen particular success in reducing black grass pressure with Octavian®️Met as part of the programme. 🌱
For three years running our trials have shown one thing… Roundup delivers results you can trust.
Proven efficacy in the field, season after season 🚜
Take a look at the results!
🌱 With rye-grass now germinating, now is the time to download our management guide!

🌾 Shifting cultivation practices are reshaping weed pressure on-farm.
@WeedSciJohn from @ADASGroup explains how a more diverse set of weeds are emerging - and why it's no longer just about black grass.

Good control of flea beetle is essential – especially for high-value veg crops like pak choi. 🥬

That's a wrap on our Field Days for 2025! 🎬
Thank you to everybody who visited, and a special shout-out to our host farmers at Cawood, Callow, Hinton Waldrist and The Walpoles for making it possible. ⭐
🌾 Herbicide performance isn’t just about application—it’s also about soil type, moisture, and drilling depth.
Ben @Gilesy256 breaks down how these factors influence herbicide movement in the soil to give your crops the best start. 🔍
In my mind, IBC=No repetitive 20L can lifting, no bad back, no twisting caps off, no glugging, no triple rinsing and no disposal costs. Just sounds like a better experience…. Thanks @Bayer4CropsUK@RichardhGarnett
@AdasBlake@ADASGroup@ChloeMo95@lynntatnell1 Hi @AdasBlake unfortunately I can't make the open day but would be really keen to see you results from these trials as it is a question that is becoming much more common!
To highlight how tricky brown rust control can be, this is late September sown Crusoe that had a robust T1 (new SDHI + PTZ/Teb mix) 12 days ago - v.high brown rust as couldn't get T0 applied - being well controlled in upper canopy, though can still find pustules in axis of leaf 5
Remember Alchemy in 2007? Brown rust ran riot following a winter/spring that was 2-4 degrees above average. Crusoe in Cambridgeshire this week - its early for Brown rust, but no surprise - Oct, Dec, Feb and March all unseasonably mild. @ADASGroup@ADASBoxworth
Excited to have had @ChloeMo95 from @ADASGroup join Greg Hanna on our #CropDoctor tour last week!
They were discussing the diverse range of disease pressures we are currently observing in Callow, Herefordshire.🌾🔍
