There is an increase in mixed ethnicity couples, but by and large people do seem to be attracted to their own ethnicity, so with a collapse to one billion, would white people still likely exist as an ethnic group in 300 years?

Once in long-term decline, it would roughly halve every ~45-50 years. Reaching under a million would take ~500 years; negligible levels over 1,000-1,500 years.

Current youthful demographics create strong momentum, so any decline would build gradually after a possible peak, not immediately.

In reality, fertility, migration, and policy would change long before then.

23 year old Sudanese migrant Abubaker Mohamad Awad, stabbed 19 year old Tommie Lindhn to death in his own apartment in Härnösand, Sweden after Lindhn tried to stop Awad from raping a Swedish girl at knife point.

After killing Tommie, Awad continued to rape the young girl next to Tommies dead body.
