@AntonioMango4 Where is £80m+ coming from? An elite number 10 pre peak years with 5yrs on a contract with a CL club where 20% of a fee is going to Boro. Unless it’s a clause, the number is ridiculous. Atheltic, which is probably as balanced source as you have quote £100m as a reference

West Ham played AEK, Gent, AZ & Fiorentina & Villa played Lille, Ajax & Olympiacos.

The season of CL West Ham finished 14th, Villa finished 4th.

The old format gave West Ham an easier run of games & they still couldn’t hack the league along side it.

@Jamesreid261 @avfc_stef Once the whole system is changed. Wage caps, PSR etc etc- all needs review and level playing field capped. However, that horse bolted back in 92, so hard to progress and try and compete at the sharp end whilst trying to catch up to giants with one hand behind our back
