@Jer_Broski@nicoledmaher@ComicDaveSmith The holocaust in their understanding, was an unfortunate mistake because Hitler had to choose between feeding the German people or the jews. Are my friends misrepresenting Cooper?
@Jer_Broski@nicoledmaher@ComicDaveSmith This is not how my friends have interpreted it. They said (paraphrasing Cooper and summarizing Buchanan and another book called Human Smoke) that the West was equally responsible for the war AND holocaust because we didn't trade with Germany so they didn't have enough food.
@ComicDaveSmith Well, Cooper did say the West was equally responsible for the holocaust because we didn't trade and give Hitler enough food. So poor Hitler had to choose between feeding his people or the jews. Of course, how could you not be sympathetic for ol' Adolf when he puts it that way π
@LPNH I have leftist progressive friends that I'm very close with that do not hate me for being a libertarian. However, my nationalists friends will not hang around anyone who disagrees with them and wish violence on decenting opinions. When they're not denying the holocaust I mean.

So what? Show me where this change in manufacturing economy to service economy has hurt real incomes in the US? Nationally, I can't find data to support this change mattering to our income or standard or living. Open to the seeing data, though?
@danorlovsky7 You're right on the impact to the young QB and the baggage Rodgers brings. However, for fans of a franchise that hasn't won an SB, hasn't appeared in one since the 70s, and was last in an NFC championship game in 2010, maybe taking a swing at winning now would be preferred?
@AmerCompass@oren_cass@MrWinMarshall Can you provide data to support how the US consumer will be better off from the tariffs? Because this was a political reason, not an economic one.
@RorateCaeli@JDVance False. Real incomes have not been declining. Many more millions of Americans were HELPED by trade than hurt. We are ALL consumers. We do not all work in the protected industries. Why should I sacrifice my retirement savings for YOUR job? Sounds like leftist BS to me.
@NewReaganCaucus Imagine claiming to be a "libertarian" and basically saying, "I know better than Mises, Hayek, and Friedman. What commie bastards those guys were!" π
@SchmittNYC My 401K going up was hurting American wages? Bro, I'm 35 with no college degree, making over 100K in STL. I make more than my college educated parents did at my age. Wtf are you talking about?
@AndyHermanNFL If the only thing they get a WR is like MVS and don't win a playoff game again, then yes. The hindsight is the only way we're really going to know, I guess π€·
@minakimes Yeah, and when Rodgers is the QB, the sky will be the limit... This could be a trolling joke or a serious comment. I'll let the reader decide π€
