I also wonder if it would be better to trade up the draft for a D man (if possible). It would save money and bring in youth but hinder the near future playoff hopes.

@EvanMarinofsky You spoke on Raddysh on Hockey Hub and wanting to see more in order to give him a big payday. I wonder if Sweeney works something up like he did with Geekie. It was Geekie’s 1st big season, Sweeney did a good job with his contract. Could do the same with Raddysh?

I feel they R chasing team builds instead of creating a Cup team. Do they not look at more teams to see the trends? Should they just stick w/ best available?
