You'll have Handel waxing lyrical over this to you @philsteele1 โค๏ธ
Don't get me wrong this Ireland team is much better...
But the Scots taking the 3 points when on the offensive felt negative.
It felt like they could get the try in that moment and who knows what would have happened.
Early indications of a crowd of 4k+ at @evrfc v @PontypoolRFC this afternoon.
Great to see such a vibrant atmosphere in the club game.
Hospitality rammed, stand packed and plenty of back and forth on the bank.
Not surprised that the scots have done well Vs the Aussies.
Felt like the Aussies had been bigged up a wee bit too much after beating a weak England and then they kicked our arse but we were pure shit.
Come up against a strong team here
@GreggC_CC Certainly would have been made much worse. The sheer size of tree felling just means excess water coming down into the rivers. When it then meets at cross keys an already stressed area for flooding is dealing with more water
We've been saying for a while that the huge amount of deforestation and tree feeling across the valleys, but especially in @CaerphillyCBC area would make this inevitable
Seeing photos & videos from up and down the western Gwent valley, and the carnage the rain has wrought. Feel for all those impacted.
Seeing so many sports facilities under water too. Devastating for communities.
@DelythJewellAM@NatResWales Would be interested to know if NRW had any plans in place to mitigate this inevitable flooding following the huge tree felling operation and deforestation in the Gwent valleys in recent years.
