@dubs_thoughts Wiggins averaged 18 pts, 9 rebs, 1.5 blocks, & 1.5 steals and played 39 minutes per game for the Warriors in the finals the year he won his championship. Way better than KAT & Love’s stat lines in the finals.
@SnottieDrippen These people need to watch the Kevin Love Sports Science episode to see the proper box out technique and why offensive players are crashing the boards like this. Shai & Brunson don’t even attempt to box out, but just flop once the know the contact is coming
@Jacobtheclipper For all those, saying there’s 2 defenders waiting for Wemby…. It really doesn’t matter when he gets the ball with a head of steam and a lane like that to dunk over everybody
Dort is so used to trying to sell the foul on the pick & roll that he almost fell without any Spurs player within 5 feet of him on that last possession
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was playing mostly normal basketball till San Antonio went up 11 this quarter. Promptly hit the deck on back-to-back possessions. Now Caruso takes a dive while I type this out.
Nah man I’ve NEVER seen a back to back MVP with worse PR than Shai Gilgeous-Alexander lmaooo
Jay Williams just introduced a new segment called ‘Life Alert with SGA’ 😭💀
“Help me I’ve fallen and I can’t get up.” 🤣
@AschNBA It’s essentially the same thing as saying 1 out of the last 595 teams to have won after trailing by 22 points in the 4th quarter of a playoff game, but a lot more concise
There will be room for around 100,000 fans depending on the stage set-up at U.S. Bank Stadium, per Wendy Blackshaw, president/CEO of Minnesota Sports and Events. There will also be watch parties around the region that will count toward total attendance as well.
@AndrewDBailey I think you’re underestimating how much injuries played into Wolves series vs the Spurs. Wolves beat Spurs 2 out of 3 times during regular season, w the only loss being Ant’s 55 point game. Ant, Ayo, Naz all dealing with major injuries, plus Dante being played a huge factor
@HPbasketball They also took a fully healthy Spurs team (who are expected to challenge OKC) to 6 games without Dante, and Ant, Ayo, & Naz each playing through legitimate injuries. I get injuries are part of the game, but if both teams are fully healthy, it’s a different series
Not saying Dillingham was going to develop into a star, but he was a top lottery pick that the coaches decided not to give a runway to develop. Players need to play & learn from their mistakes & be given some vote of confidence they won’t get pulled every time they make a mistake
Chris Finch: We believe in our young guys, you know, there's evolution and development that has to take place, but that team that we just played, their young guys were all top lottery picks, so there's a difference right there, there's a gap that you gotta make up right there.
We have a young core around Anthony Jaden, Naz, those guys…we're not planning on going anywhere, but we need to keep, keep building this thing out.
Randle seems to be the best 1v1 defender against Wemby. Only reason I can see Wolves not using him as the primary defender is the Spurs may just pick & roll the whole time
