@KemiBadenoch Labour are shite, but you guys were even worse. Having to choose between your parties is like choosing a punch in the face or a kick in the balls!
@lammie_j@kiranstacey Looks like it was a trust for a disabled child, which does come with tax perks, but is entirely designed to protect and provide for the child. She'd be negligent as a parent if she didn't put finances in place for a disabled child
@Peteclarke85@Rebecca51707195@MarinaPurkiss You could flip that thinking and ask the lender to assess to see if the applicant could afford the hypothetical 10% scenario at the outset - and the lender reject the application if not?
@DanNeidle The top penalty rate band is 'deliberately and concealed' i.e. fraud & you only get the minimum 30% penalty if you come forward freely to HMRC and are 100% fully compliant with disclosure, co-operation and provision of information. How likely is that he's willing come forward?
@andrewbensonf1@guardian For a sport that is wanting to become more environmentally friendly and aiming to be carbon neutral (by 2030 is it?) the decision to greenlight this particular track is absolutely ridiculous
