A few years ago @HoareLab asked me to start an exciting project as I transferred to my PhD.

In this paper, we made nanogels that size-switched and released chemotherapy "on-demand", i.e. after ultrasound. How much was released was based on its composition.

We showed that size switching was essential for penetrating - and killing - in vitro tumour models.
