TIME FOR THE ALL STAR BREAK ⭐️
Over the last 24 hours, Amnesty International, Haaretz, The Guardian, CAIR (Muslim Brotherhood), the UN, Senator Chris Van Hollen, and multiple state-run Qatari outlets have called for the release of Hamas Colonel, Hussam Abu Safiya.
It's so blatant how coordinated this all is.
Reminder: In May 2024, as ICC prosecutor Karim Khan faced charges of sexually abusing his subordinate, he got Amal Clooney, Helena Kennedy, Adrian Fulford, Theodor Meron, Danny Friedman and Elizabeth Wilmshurst to sign an op-ed supporting his ICC indictment of Israeli leaders. Now that he's been suspended—with shameful details of his sexual abuse revealed today in the New York Times— these individuals should demand his resignation. In another joint op-ed in the Financial Times.
🧵 The major Sepharadi corridor of South Brooklyn, Syrian, Egyptian, Lebanese, and others, from the East side of Ave. J down toward Ave. V, gets left out completely.
So does the Bukharian Jewish community in Queens, largely from Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
The Brooklyn community is not some tiny side community. Flatbush, Midwood, and Gravesend alone have roughly 54,000 people living in Jewish households, comparable in size to the Pakistani community being recognized here as number 26.
So no, this is not a small omission. It is one of New York’s most distinctive immigrant-descended Jewish communities, and it gets erased from the story.
Weirdly enough, Zohran Mamdani’s @NYCMayor office “wanted” to speak with me about this very issue and has not followed up since the election.
I guess Sepharadi voices must be muted for those “Polish folks.”
Curious angle.
P.S. Both communities even have museums.
The Mayor's Office made a map of NYC's immigrant enclaves: Little Africa, Little Poland, Little Palestine. But they just couldn't figure out how to represent 11% of the city. Couldn't decipher where the Jews are from. Asked everyone. Huge riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.
The team @FreeBeacon did so much of the heavy reportorial lifting exposing Platner's fraudulent working class background revealing: his schooling at Hotchkiss, his $200k mortgage loan from his father, his generationally wealthy, foraged spring water drinking biz partner, and more.
Why did Israel's arrest of Gaza flotilla activists spark international outrage, while activists beaten by police in Spain—and jailed for weeks in Libya—barely made the news?
Claude P. Muller exposes the double standard: https://t.co/y8GXJ15qbV
Lyndsey Fifield: "Here's diary entries, emails, texts, witnesses, former roommates, former partners, and years of contemporaneous evidence that Graham Platner abused me."
NY Times: Eh.
Random Palestinian terrorist: "Israel trained a dog to rape me."
NY Times: RUN IT!!
Rama Duwaji, wife of NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, is co-hosting an expensive spiritual retreat in Corsica, honoring Jesus' mother Mary as a "Palestinian woman giving birth under occupation".
Tickets range from around $3,000 to $5,000 for a trip of prayer, lectures, and food, all to distort the well-documented truth that Jesus was Jewish.
For such an expensive propaganda trip, one can only hope they receive a decent gift bag.
The ancient Greeks were often right: character is destiny. Hubris is one’s undoing.
The warning signs in Graham Platner were there in plain sight. Many chose not to see them. Others extended him a presumption of grace they would never have given to their ideological enemies.
This is a moment not for schadenfreude, however tempting, but for self-reflection.

So let me get this straight --
Last month the New York Times put "Israeli trained rape dogs" on their front page -- with zero evidence...
... But played down/hid the rape allegations of someone running for US SENATE..?!
In summary: The New York Times ran "Israeli-trained rape dogs" on its front page without credible evidence.
But when faced with allegations against a U.S. Senate candidate, it ignored the story.
They should give an "anti-Pulitzer" to the NYT for the Platner story. All the reporters involved should be fired.
The NYT deliberately published a hit piece on a victim of abuse in order to run cover for a man with a Nazi tattoo
Amnesty omitted:
• Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya is a Hamas colonel
• Israeli Supreme Court rejected his appeal
• His hospital was Hamas command & weapons center
• He celebrated Oct 7 massacre as gift from Allah
• He glorified terrorists and incited hate against “the Jews”
