#A214 or #CM2 advice
Many students have sent me a dm asking how to prepare for the exam. Best piece of advice would be increase your standards drastically. Question your own knowledge all the time. If you get to the end of a chapter, the moment you don't have and answer redo the whole chapter. The aim is to get 90-100% for everything otherwise you are not "grounded" in your knowledge. What this implies is that you are already behind with your studies. You will need to put in both quantity and quality of time in your studies. If you do such a proper job at learning, you at most only need to do 1 or 2 past papers as you should be scoring 80-90% in your practice exams (which usually results in 65 to 75%) final mark. Remember, it's all about managing your risk of failure.

Mental Health Note: Anhedonia
Though I've been experiencing this a lot more recently, it's easier to identify when it's really happening or if I'm in a depressive state.

Unpopular question
In the UK, I speak under correction, everyone are actuaries at AMASSA level and specialization is determined by experience in a specific area and not whether you passed particular exams. Thoughts?

1/2 Due to unusually high demand and the breakdown of a generating unit each at Hendrina, Kendal and Kriel power stations, loadshedding has unfortunately been escalated to Stage 5 until further notice.
@reynasnoriega I find the flowers example funny. When my partner goes on about wanting gifts, he always shouts that he doesn't want flower (as it was something I wanted 2 do). I decided to buy myself flowers one day. Now he buys me flowers from time to time. Wonder how much we give what we want
@reynasnoriega Need advice. So I have ADHD and ASD. I get happiness from my partner expressing happiness. Now if I continue to give him flowers and he no longer expresses happiness, I no longer feel the need to continue, but then he gets upset when I stop. How do I continue to stay motivated-
