the West End is in a death spiral of raiding intellectual property IP & staging movie musicals.
Meanwhile, top price tickets at our Royal National Theatre are £120.
Some millionaires defend extortionate dynamic pricing — change the record - theatre should never be a cash cow x
I find this odd. It was basically received and sold on Broadway THREE times. I didn’t care for it, but it seemed like the transfer would thrive. And yet Prada keeps extending with no Broadway intentions. Theater is such an odd beast. That said, I am sat for Much Ado 1st perf
For all the joy and one of the most fab and glittery nights of theater I have experienced, fare thee well and that album better be streaming soon! @jellicleballnyc
It’s not a slur. It’s a choice. I was never made for gay life as a circuit gay. Not my thing. That doesn’t make it bad. You. Live your best life, I live mine. We celebrate our lives as we wish!
I’m so proud to be a circuit gay. Even tho a lot of y’all use it as a slur i’m proud of being able to enjoy my gay life to the max by going to those events #CircuitGay
@AMCTheatres Are you going to address the awful rollout of the new #Odyssey tickets and the line that locked people out of the app today? That was a mess!
Did you not get the word that the whole Go Woke Go Broke movement is dead? Nobody cares. Bud Light is doing fine and The Odyssey is tracking amazing. Cope. Your dear leaders are failing everywhere. MAGA propaganda is failing.
The timeline has shit down about @odysseymovie. It’s a hot hot hit. Can’t wait to see it tomorrow in Dolby and and hope to see it again in its made format at @lincolnsquareAMC. So excited!!!!
Everything has become reality tv. I try to pinpoint when it began. Was it the OJ Simpson trial or the Monica Lewinsky scandal, the 24/7 news cycle of the 90s where private tragedies burst into public spectacles? Then I think of the flashing bulbs of the paparazzi following the tall starving girls of the early aughts while The Hills and The Kardashians purported to show their lives, the paparazzi never visible somehow in the carefully curated "realities" presented. Then there was the reality tv President, the first one being Obama not Trump in my opinion, although both qualify. Celebrities more than politicians who understood how to work a camera, a room, create a spectacle out of their very presence. Then we all turned the cameras on ourselves. In Milan last week I passed person after person filming themselves, curating their own mini reality tv shows. It gets confusing, to even know when you're in the moment and when you're posing for a camera. Even with friends so often you're being filmed, clipped, presented for some audience somewhere. It feels rude to decline, why wouldn't you want to be in a picture with your friends? It's endless and nauseating and intoxicating and it feels like there's no end. The line between reality and media will blur and blur and blur, the pharmaceuticals will get better and better, the technology will get better, the ai will get better. It's a hyper reality, it feels like its all a set, and we're just sort of on it.

It is truly baffling. One would hope they have a trick up their sleeves we don't know about yet, but I doubt it. A true shame. That is a hard barn to fill.
yes we all are aware of DBH numbers but explain to me why DBH isn’t doing anything to bring them up?!? it’s like they are preparing for their own failure
