@gmanredux What many people not understand about Russia - most of it still ethnically and culturally homogeneous. There is no natural way, in which far east would detach from Moscow. "Balcanisation" in any meaningfull way is less possible than balcanisation of Spain, France or UK.

@nikicaga And if it's not majoritary - you would get Belgian or Netherlands parliament with 20 nieche parties. There is almost no way to have one consistent big party without some sort of tyranny (Japan's LDP is only good example i could remember).

@nikicaga Always were. If it's even slightly majoritary system you would get two major parties, one to the left, another - to the right. Even worse - there would be only 2-3 issues people actually cared about in those parties + state of the economy (which is not political btw).
