@rachk_k @EmmaWebsdale @ArgyllSeaGlass The tree is at the front of our houses and it hardly blocks any light when in full leaf, dappled shade at most and doesn’t shade anyone’s back gardens where we might sit out. It was here long before the houses were! No one has ever complained about so much as a leaf!

@Musicalboxer1 @EmmaWebsdale @ArgyllSeaGlass That’s absolutely ridiculous! I’ve been reassured that birch trees are flexible and won’t destroy houses if they come down in a storm. Especially ones like mine which have several trunks. I’ve watched it in storms and it’s true. Very bendy! 😜
