@Lowes Your installer (RXO) left our fridge water line uncapped, flooding our home. Our kitchen floor is lifting, our rug is soaked, and we’ve had no running water for a week. RXO denied responsibility, and Lowe’s keeps sending us back to them. Never ordering from @Lowes again

@Lowes customer service keeps telling us there’s nothing they can do because RXO is the contractor. We’re being bounced back and forth while our home continues to suffer water damage.

RXO now says they’re “installers, not plumbers,” and wants us to pay for a plumber ourselves. They’ve also said they won’t take responsibility for the property damage caused by the uncapped water line.

My family has now been without running water for a WEEK. In 100° Virginia heat we’ve been showering with buckets because turning the water back on causes it to pour from the uncapped line. @Lowes

RXO came back, looked at the leak, admitted they didn’t know how to fix it, and told us to shut off our home’s water in the meantime. They never returned.

We paid @Lowes for installation. The installers disconnected our old fridge’s water line, installed the new fridge (which doesn’t use a water line), and left without capping the exposed line or telling us it was left open.
