@RadioTimes Get a decent Executive Producer who isn't trying to push their political agenda and just leave them alone to produce science fiction. Every single franchise failure in recent years has involved boardroom interference prioritising box-ticking over storytelling.
Learn.
Bit of a wildcard this time. An extract of this @Candy_Jar novel from ages ago was ultimately not wanted for a podcast. Never a one to waste recorded material, here it is, all tarted up:

Dear BBC, when you hire the next Doctor Who Executive Producer please could you also hire a 5-year-old to point out any blindingly obvious stupid moves?
@bigfinish Thank you for making proper Doctor Who for the past 27 years. Ups and downs of course, but at the heart of it all just a desire to produce good stories in the spirit of the originals.
We continue to be very, very grateful.
@bbctms Far more irritating is the current trend of holding lapel mics. Thankfully, the reporter realises 40 seconds in that he isn't a 19 year old influencer.
@Qui_Quae_Quod42 A blue bottle appears on the TVM console between the Seventh Doctor exiting the TARDIS and the Eighth Doctor entering for the first time. No explanation at all.
More Doctor Who novel goodness, this time from the 2002 Seventh Doctor adventure 'Relative Dementias'

@GuyLambertUK It's the best format. It doesn't need reinventing and yet they're obsessed with doing just that. Stop with the surrealism, stop with the preaching, stop rewriting history. None of this engages the audience.
By far the best thing they've done since 2005 is underlying series arcs.
