Ocho certificados intermedios de eMudhra (CA india) tenían las claves privadas tan débiles que cualquiera las podía recuperar en segundos.

Eran claves P-384, pero en la práctica tenían valores menores a 256. Una era literalmente el número 4. Se crearon en una ceremonia de abril 2025 por un error en el script.

Chrome, Firefox, Apple y Microsoft ya las bloquearon. eMudhra las revocó. No hay evidencia de que se hayan usado para emitir certificados reales.

Si te aparece “Your client successfully connected to the site. That’s bad!” en vez de un error de certificado (ERR_CERT_REVOKED), todavía las confía. Actualizá el navegador y el sistema.

Los navegadores ya están cubiertos. El problema ahora son las apps y lenguajes que traen su propio bundle de CAs (Go, Electron, Python certifi, Rust, Node, etc.). Varios ya tienen parche, otros siguen pendientes.

MEXC FROZE MY $300,000 AND DEMANDED 40% TO RELEASE IT

MEXC locked my account, which held approximately $300,000. I had fully complied with their verification process and submitted every document they had requested.

Days later, their support lead contacted me directly on my registered phone number and demanded 40% of my funds in exchange for unfreezing my account.

I filed complaints, yet my account remained frozen and my funds continued to be withheld.

This was my personal experience with MEXC, and now reports of accounts being frozen have started surfacing again.

I’m sharing my experience to warn others: I would not trust MEXC with significant funds, and I strongly advise against keeping substantial amounts on the platform.

Don’t wait until your money is frozen to realize the risks. Protect your funds and stay cautious.
