A 1-0 series lead with a BO9 gives the top team a chance to start slow after sitting for ages to turn momentum.. surely you can understand that.

Regardless of whether OpTic won or not, the point still stands that is a backwards system. It has been for years even when FaZe was dominating the league. There is no advantage coming out of Winners that is significant enough to make it worth it

Ideally, should be 1-0 to the winners bracket team from get go. Make it a BO9��

However, the momentum disadvantage from sitting in Finals waiting against a team that has been through losers is insane. OpTic are forced to start hot or play catch up instantly which is very hard to do!
