BREAKING: Boston Celtics All-NBA star Jayson Tatum will play this season and could make his debut on Friday against the Dallas Mavericks โ less than 10 months after surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon.
@schadjoe Yep. Here's my annual complaint that this is stupid and the NFL should have a rule something like "if a wild card team has a record with two or more wins than a division winner, that team will get home field advantage instead"
@CelticsUnite18@BenjayCreates Keep seeing Simons in projections but I think Pritchard starts, he's earned it.
Pritchard/White/JB/Boucher/Queta with Simons/Hauser/Tillman as primaries off the bench.
Hope there's one more move for a C
Been clamoring about this for years. Def needed - there is no reason a 10-7 team should be seeded with home field adv over a 14-3 team just because their division is elite (this exact scenario happened last year, btw) #NFL
Significant: NFL owners will vote next week on a proposal to change the playoff seeding format, where teams would be seeded strictly by regular-season record rather than automatically awarding the top four seeds to division winners, per @AlbertBreer.
More detail:
โ If teams have the same record, a division title would serve as the first tiebreaker (not head-to-head).
โ After the first round, teams would be re-seeded so the No. 1 seed always plays the lowest remaining seed.
โ The NFL wants to increase late-season competitiveness and excitement and reduce teams resting starters in Weeks 17โ18.
