@YankeeWRLD@IISwitchII If Schwarber plays 8 more years he’d need to average 32.5 home runs to reach 600 home runs which I think is a threshold that the hall of fame won’t ignore. 500 he may fall short but 600 I doubt it. If he finished in the middle around ~550 then I truly don’t know.
@PlayoffTanaka_@YankeeWRLD I still think Rogers Hornsby is the best right handed hitter. If judge keeps this up for a few more years then he def has a case.
@JaylonDBZ @realalmightee@Drake It sold over 1 million singles units across the 3 songs but you have to convert singles units to album units which in this case is a 10 to 1 conversion so 1 million singles units is 100k album units.
@YankeeWRLD Honestly I think Rogers Hornsby is the most underrated hitter of alltime. He’s legit the best right handed hitter ever and probably should be considered a top 10 player of alltime but is rarely brought up in alltime discussions.
@cincysportzhq@OpoyChase Since the merger Steve smith didn’t win offensive player in 2005, sterling sharpe didn’t in 1992, jerry rice didn’t in 1990. The only triple crown receiver to win offensive player of the year was cooper kupp.
@BBeItforMVP@FoolishBB Looking around the closet examples I could find are probably Zack greinke who was on his 4th team by his age 29 season and then his 5th by his age 32 season. Bert Blyleven was also on his 4th team by his age 30 season.
@Troydan It would be an nba player if the league didn’t limit contracts to 5 years. The nba will be the first to see a player get $100 million a year which is currently predicted to occur in the early to mid 2030’s.
@wesleyshears@MetsRuinedJake It’s because baseball reference uses RA9 which includes unearned runs for war. His RA9 was 5.35 which was actually below average so his war wasn’t great. His 1882 season was actually much better with 11.1 war.
@ToddHall45 @WillBlackmon Emmitt smith did fumble 61 times which is 12th all time by a RB and is 2.5x more than the active leader in Ezekiel Elliot with 24. He did have a lot of carries though.
@nicktyrell I dunno as an overall season i'd say 1924 Rogers Hornsby is still the best. 12.1 Bwar and 12.2 Fwar. Judge has a case as potentially a barely better hitting season but Hornsby was a significantly better defender at 2nd base than Judge was at center which gives Hornsby higher war
@Slim_978@barstoolsports Marshawn’s last good season was his age 28 season and he was basically done by 31. Henry is 30 and still a top tier back and I imagine he wants to play longer than lynch.
@ObamaFBR@MLB Joe Sewell once went 516 plate appearances without striking out. He also only struck out 114 times in 8333 plate appearances. The record since integration is 233 by Dave cash in the 1970’s.
